We drooled watching this 1965 mustang tool down U.S.
41 in Sarasota this week. The body looks like it is hyped higher off the
ground then stock Mustangs.

This shiny yellow 73 Dodge waits to cross U.S. 41.
Most of them had a slant six engine that ran like a bull forever.

This car tooting around Sarasota was enough to make you want to sell your
Toyota.

Charlie Wake from Sarasota
traced the same trail that his great grandfather did in an original Winton
automobile. His great grandfather invented the Winton. Watch for Charlie's
photos of his cross country trip from San Francisco to New York's Central Park
on Our Town 50. View brief history at

Eat your heart out it's a 1956 T-Bird on a Sarasota car lot.

There is nothing quite like a Sunday drive in your shiny roadster along

Sarasota is full of classic cars. This one
we found at Sun Trust by Stickney Pointe Rd. It's a Woody with a
surfboard on top.

This rare MG, vintage late 1940's pulled into an Osprey restaurant over
the weekend. It's a classic all right.

It's engine roared even when
it stood still, it's lines were sleek and shiny. We spotted this beauty along
Clark Road.

Oh, eat your heart out at this vintage 1950 Woody....(Plymouth)
owned by a Sarasota resident who is going to take it to auction for around $50K
this weekend.

This 1960's vintage Corvette cools it's jets while the owner takes care of
business along S. Beneva.

This Sarasota driver gives us the thumbs up as he tools around town in
his red roadster.

A couple goes shopping in their classic Buick Roadmaster Sunday.

Probably a early 1960's Chrysler.
