4th of July Races.
The Suncoast Offshore Poker Run ties off at the Casey Key Fish House
for lunch and some fun Saturday.
Poker Run boats head off to complete the run.
The second band sets up for the Casey Key Fish house bash Saturday
evening that attracted half of Sarasota and Venice. Parking almost went
from the Tiki bar to U.S. 41 :) It was a like a 2003 Woodstock event.
Dancers revel to the hot music and cool sand beneath their feet at
the Casey Key Fish House Bash.
Local power boat racers gather in the dry pits with their family
in front of Pitman Photos Express boat. L-R Nicole, Dennis the throttle
man, Barbara and Ed the driver-owner. We be rootin for the home team.
David Branch owner-throttleman and Bruce Kruglick, MD, driver,
pose in front of their boat Muscle in the dry pits prior to Sunday's boat
race. Our local boys are the 2002 National and World Champions in
the Super Boat Class. Yes, the graphics on their boat are a little artsy
:)
